Stabilchem (M) Sdn Bhd and Esterchem (M) Sdn Bhd are wholly-owned subsidiaries of renowned
IOI Oleochemical Industries Berhad. Both companies are sister companies of Acidchem International Sdn Bhd,
one of the largest producers of palm-based fatty acids in Asia. Stabilchem and Esterchem have a consistent and ready supply of
fresh high quality fatty acids for the manufacture of metal stearates and fatty esters due to its proximity to Acidchem International.
Announcement : Effective 1 June 2007, Peter Greven Asia has taken over Stabilchem's manufacturing facilities
and will continue the existing stearates business. Peter Greven Asia is a Joint-Venture company between
Peter Greven Fett-Chemie Gmbh from Germany and IOI Oleochemical Berhad.
