Stabilchem commenced production of non-toxic metal stearates in 1995 utilizing modern technology in production,
quality assurance and technical development. Today, its operation is capable of producing products of finest quality
expectations of our customers worldwide, especially for food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications. The range of
Palmstar stearates includes Halal and Kosher grade sodium stearates, calcium stearates, zinc stearates and magnesium
stearates.
With its commitment towards quality, Stabilchem was awarded ISO 9002 certification since July 1997. In May 2003, Stabilchem has
successfully upgraded its systems certification to ISO 9001:2000, incorporating the process approach in its quality management
system. Besides that, the company became one of the few stearates manufacturers which are HACCP/GMP certified since October 2003.
Effective 1 June 2007, Peter Greven Asia has taken over Stabilchem's manufacturing facilities and will continue the existing stearates business.
Peter Greven Asia is a Joint-Venture company between Peter Greven Fett-Chemie Gmbh from Germany and IOI Oleochemical Berhad.
